The invention relates to a device for connecting the ends of two helically corrugated sheaths of the same diameter. For this purpose, one sheath end is radially widened to form a socket of predetermined diameter and is thus screwed onto the end of the other sheath. The connecting region is then enclosed by a sealing sleeve.
