<p>A peptide derivative of the formula <CHEM> wherein A is hydrogen or a hydrocarbon acyl having 2 to 10 carbon atoms which may be substituted with an amino group, B is Phe, Gly, Phe-Gly, Gly-Gly or Phe-Gly-Gly, C is a neutral alpha -amino acid residue, and E is Gln, Gln-Ser or Gln-Ser-Gly, respectively or a salt thereof is useful as a reagent for elucidating the morbid physiological role of alpha hANP, and also used for the therapy of hypotension, peripheral circulatory insufficiency of mammals (e.g. mice, rats, rabbits, dogs, cats and humans, etc.).</p> |
