<p>The device comprises a discharge valve (19, 21) which, by opening, controls the flow of bypass exhaust gases in relation to the turbine (6). The discharge valve (19, 21) is linked to an opening control device (22, 30) connected to an actuating device (40) capable of opening the discharge valve during cold starting of the engine, in particular through the difference in pressure between the intake gases on the compressor outlet (5) and a low-pressure gas source (2, 32). The control device (22) consists of a twin-chambered enclosure (24, 25) connected to a three-way solenoid valve (30).
