PURPOSE:To inspect the acceptance or rejection in the quantity of air leak quickly at a high accuracy by computing input signals from a pressure detector and a temperature detection with an arithmetic processor to determine it. CONSTITUTION:An air is supplied to an object 5 to be inspected at a set pressure P1 of a low pressure setting air regulator 15 from an air source 1 and when it reaches the pressure value P1 set for an arithmetic processor 8 with a pressure detector 6, the side of the object 5 being inspected is separated from the side of an air supply means 2 completely with a check valve 3. The pressure drop value DELTAP1 is measured over the measuring time preset for the arithmetic processor 8 while the temperature C1 of the measuring atmosphere is measured with a temperature detector 7 and the pressure drop value DELTAP1 is compared with an allowable pressure drop value DELTAP1 at the measuring atmosphere temperature C1 preset for the arithmetic processor 8 to determine the acceptance or rejection of the leak. The results are indicated with an O.K. lamp or a N.G. lamp. |
