RECEIVER FOR CVSD MODULATION WITH INTEGRAL FILTERING

CVSD modulation is detected by applying a digital signal containing CVSD information to a digital filter that is in the CVSD loop. The digital fiter includes voltage-operated switches that switch one of two voltages to a resistor network. The output of the digital filter is monitored by a rule circuit that controls a syllabic filter to generate a signal that is multiplied by the output of the digital filter in the multipler. The multiplied product is then filtered to an analog CVSD signal. Pref. the filter comprises a number of latches connected to from flip-flops. The system is esp. adapted for use in integrated circuits using CMOS.
