PURPOSE:To automate a clamping operation and a stretching process in a straightening device of extruded shape material by providing a pair of upper and lower clampers to a truck freely movably in the vertical direction and moving the truck under a shape material supporting body. CONSTITUTION:A truck 49 moves in the longitudinal direction of a shape material 1 in accordance with the change of the extruded length of the material 1 to straighten the material 1 by a stretcher 14. The truck 49 can be run under a shape material supporting body 13 provided to the stretching process. And a pair of upper and lower clamps 17a, 17b is provided to the truck 49 freely movably in the vertical direction so that they are projected upward from the material supporting surface of the body 13. The device is capable of corresponding to the straightening process of the material of any length, making the clamping action sure, and automating the process. |
