PURPOSE:To obtain a color negative photosensitive material high in sensitivity and capable of forming a high-quality image by incorporating a specified amount of silver in a photosensitive material and forming red-, green-, and blue-sensitive emulsion layers each composed of >=2 layers different in sensitivity. CONSTITUTION:The total amount of silver contained in the photosensitive material is controlled to 3.0-9.0g/m<2>, and the emulsion layers are composed of the red-, green-, and blue-sensitive emulsion layers each consisting of >=2 layers different in sensitivity, and at least one emulsion layer different in color sensitivity from the emulsion layer highest in sensitivity located nearest to a support is arranged between the support and said highest sensitive layer among the red sensitive emulsion layer highest in sensitivity, the green-sensitive emulsion layer highest in sensitivity, and the blue-sensitive emulsion layer highest in sensitivity, thus permitting the obtained color negative photosensitive material prevented from rise of fog, deterioration of sensitivity, and graininess each caused by the lapse of time, and high in sensitivity, and to form a high-quality image. |
