PURPOSE:To obtain the title compact vacuum double bottle by cutting the outer bottle with an exhaust pipe welded to the shoulder part into the upper and lower halves, placing the inner bottle in the lower half, welding the upper half, welding the upper ends of the inner and outer bottles, exhausting the air from the exhaust pipe, and fusing and sealing the pipe. CONSTITUTION:The inner bottle 1b consisting of a broad barrel part 2b, a bottom part 6b, a shoulder part 3b, and a neck part 4b is produced. Meanwhile, the outer bottle 1a consisting of a broad barrel part 2a, a bottom part 6a, a shoulder part 3a, and a neck part 4a is produced, the exhaust pipe 9 is welded to the middle of the shoulder part 3a, and the material is cut at the barrel part 2a into the upper half 30 and the lower half 31. The inner bottle 1b is inserted into the lower half 31 of the outer bottle 1a, the upper half 30 of the outer bottle is placed thereon, and the upper half 30 and the lower half 31 are welded. The upper end of the outer bottle 1a is then welded to the upper end of the inner bottle 1b to form a double bottle, the air is exhausted from the exhaust pipe 9, the exhaust pipe 9 is fused and sealed, and the vacuum double bottle 1 is obtained.
