PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of a piezoelectric element by polarizing the piezoelectric ceramic element of object shape with no electrode gives thereby eliminating the heat treatment process. CONSTITUTION:Piezoelectric ceramic elements 11 without any electrode are overlapped in the broadwise direction and clipped by metallic plates 2 without gap from the lengthwise direction, a voltage of 30KV is applied between both metallic plates for 30min in a silicone oil heated at 100 deg.C to apply polarization. After the polarization, counter electrodes 3 made of silver are vapor-deposited in the broadwise direction of the piezoelectric ceramic elements 1 to obtain a piezoelectric ceramic resonator. Since no heat treatment process after the polarization exists, the piezoelectric ceramic element is not deteriorated. |
