PURPOSE:To obtain a double-layer plated steel sheet having superior heat and corrosion resistances by forming a lower plated layer of Ni, Cr or Co on a steel sheet by a specified extent of sticking and an upper plated layer of an Al-Mn alloy on the lower plated layer by a specified extent of sticking. CONSTITUTION:A lower plated layer of at least one among Ni, Cr and Co is formed on one side or both sides of a steel sheet by 0.5-20g/m<2> and an upper plated layer of an Al-Mn alloy is formed on the lower plated layer by 1-100g/m<2>. The alloy plating is carried out at about 150-200 deg.C and about 20-100A/dm<2> current density. The Mn content in the Al-Mn alloy is regulated to 0.5-50wt%. The resulting steel sheet having two plated layers hardly undergoes deterioration in the corrosion resistance and adhesion even during use at high temp. and has satisfactory workability.
