PURPOSE:To know time freely from 360 deg. directions by suspending a large wheel hand and a small wheel hand corresponding to an hour hand and a minute hand by two threads and forming a recessed part where they idle only once between a driving gear and a driven gear. CONSTITUTION:The recessed part is formed at one place on the circumference of a gear 15 which transmits power to a gear 14 through a gear 21. The two threads 7 and 7a are wound around a coaxial bobbin 14a fixed on the gear 14 and a large wheel hand 2 is suspended at the other-terminal sides. A dial 1 has a timepiece scale and the wheel hand 2 is at the position of the lower- most part 6 first; and the hand 2 moves up gradually according to the rotation of a gear 15 and when it reaches the uppermost part 60min later, the recessed part of the gear 15 and gear 21 abut on each other and the hand 2 idles to fall abruptly and moves up and down repeatedly at intervals of 60min. The small wheel hand 3 has the same constitution using gears 17, 21a, and 16 and two threads and moves up and down repeatedly at intervals of 12hr. Therefore, the time can be viewed in the 360 deg. directions and any large or small structure can be selected as a timepiece.
