发明名称 POROUS CARBON PLASTIC ELECTRODE
摘要 PURPOSE:To make gasket material unnecessary by using fluorine resin polymer in the matrix of a carbon plastic electrode and making it porous. CONSTITUTION:20-45 wt.% fluorine resin polymer, 5-15 wt.% carbon black, 8-45 wt.% graphite, and 10-50 wt.% porosity forming agent are kneaded. The mixture is press-molded in a sheet, then the porosity forming agent is extracted to give porosity to the matrix of a carbon plastic electrode. By using the fluorine resin, the chemical resistant property of the matrix is made good compared with use of polyethylene although thermoplasticity is somewhat worse. Even if porosity forming treatment is conducted by extraction, no deterioration in the property of the resin is generated, and the durability as the matrix is retained excellent.
