PURPOSE:To execute easily and exactly measurement and also to make a device small- sized by using an electrode itself as a speed measuring element and detecting the variation of an electrostatic capacitance between the electrodes as a time variation of an output voltage. CONSTITUTION:An inter-ground resistance RX is a resistance between a vacuum switch pipe 1 and an earth, and constitutes one side of a Schering bridge together with an inter-electrode electrostatic capacitance CX, an adjusting capacitor C1 and an adjusting resistance R1 are connected in series to constitute a side opposed to the inter-electrode electrostatic capacitance. CX, an AC power source 14 is connected between the input terminals 13a, 13b of the Schering bridge 13, and an amplifier 15 amplifies an output between the output terminals 13c, 13d of the Schering bridge 13 to generate an output to output terminals 15a, 15b. A fixed electrode 2 of the switch pipe 1 and a movable electrode 3 are connected to the input terminal 13a and the output terminal 13c, respectively. In this state, by adjusting the adjusting capacitor C1 and the adjusting resistance R1, the variation of the inter-electrode electrostatic capacitor CX accompanying with the closing or opening of the movable electrode 3 is detected as the time variation of the output voltage of the output terminals 15a, 15b to be displayed on a recording meter. |
