PURPOSE:To increase the density of recording and to improve the difficulty of falsification and tampering by providing a transparent base material for a card front which is formed with the rugged patterns of the interference fringes of a hologram in an information recording part forming region on the inside surface, an optical recording pattern layer, a metallic reflecting film, and a base material for a card rear to a titled card. CONSTITUTION:Illuminating light for reconstruction which is visible light is diffracted in a number of directions if said light is illuminated to the information recording part forming region 6. The diffracted light includes the light wave having the same amplitude and phase as the amplitude and phase of the wave front of the previously recorded light and said light wave reconstructs the recorded image. The content recorded in the optical recording pattern layer 8 can be read if the reflected light is obtd. after reading light of IR or UV rays is made incident from the front of the material 2 to an optical recording part 5 with the hologram part. The falsification and tampering of such certificate card necessitate the modification of both the hologram part 4 and the recording part 5, but the recording part 5 is invisible and the modification of one part leads to the destruction of the other part. The falsification and tampering are thereby prevented. |
