PURPOSE:To lower the power consumption of a portable signal receiver by detecting data which specifies the timing of the reception of the data from the received data and controlling the receiving time of a received signal according to the detected timing data. CONSTITUTION:The titled receiver consists of a signal reception circuit 1, a signal decoder means 2, a control means 3 and a data storage means 4 and also has a reception timing data detection circuit 5 which detects the data specifying the timing of the reception of the data from the received data and a data reception timing control means 6 which controls the time of reception of the received signal according to the detected timing data. It is possible to automatically alter the timing of reception with a transmission signal from a transmitter with this constitution and the state where the signal reception circuit of the portable signal receiver actuates even if the transmitter stops can be evaded. |
