<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a controller capable of controlling video information independently of the kind of a VTR, a host computer and a personal computer by connecting the host computer to the input side and connecting the video tape recorder (VTR) or an optical disk and a television monitor to the output side, respectively. CONSTITUTION:A VTR 2 and an optical disk (VD) 13 are connectable to an intelligent video controller (IVC) 1. Furthermore, 4 sets at maximum or IVCs are connected to one line of the host computer 6. Through the constitution above, the control of video information is attained independently of the kind of equipment and the retrieval of pictures of the VTR 2, VD 3 by the data base of the computer 6 is attained and the personal computer 7 and the video information and the graphic/character information at the host side are superimposed via a superimposing unit 4.</p> |
