PURPOSE:To carry out the spinning of a fasciated spun yarn free from unevenness and capable of giving a knit fabric with inconspicuous streaky line, by setting a main draft ratio between a middle roller and a front roller within a specific range. CONSTITUTION:The draft (main draft) between the nip point of middle rollers 3, 3' and the nip point of front rollers 4, 4' is set to 40-70 and the yarn 1 delivered from the front rollers 4, 4' is supplied to a jet-spinning apparatus 5. The process is effective in eliminating the unevenness of winding density of short fibers wrapped around a core fiber composed of untwisted short fibers, enabling the nearly uniform winding of the wrapping short fiber around the core short fiber and preventing the generation of long-period unevenness of the yarn thickness. |
