The invention relates to a modular packaging intended for the packaging of goods for the purpose of protecting them during handling and transport. The modular packaging of the present invention has the property of having an internal volume which adapts to the dimensions of the contained goods. It is characterised in that it is formed by an assembly of modular elements 3 and 4 formed from a rectangular base 7 edged with three lateral faces 8, 9 and 10. Various combinations of assembly of the modular elements are possible for producing packagings whose internal volume varies from single to triple. <IMAGE>
