Improvements to the teeth of cultivators of the type which are mounted at the end of an arm capable of pivoting by compressing a leaf spring, characterised in that the spring 7, which is a leaf spring, has the sole function of returning the tooth 1 to its original position, the tooth being held in this position by a ball subjected to the action of a spring 11. The support arm 2 of the tooth 1 has an orifice in which there is housed a ball, which is pushed into a housing of a plate 4 integral with the conventional flange for fixing the tooth 1 onto the conventional carrying bar 6, under the action of a helically wound spring 11. <IMAGE>
