The invention relates to a dispenser for discharging pasty compositions, having a piston which can move in the emptying direction in a dispenser housing, and having a stopper part which serves to close off the piston and can be driven into the piston in a sealing manner. A stopper seat is formed in the piston and the dispenser housing can be ventilated, by a ventilating zone in the region of the stopper seat, via gaps between the stopper seat and the stopper part, which gaps are interrupted by radial webs of the stopper. Furthermore, the webs (6, 7) form two separate portions which are separated from one another by a free space, are located one behind the other in the axial direction and of which at least those webs located on a cross-sectional plane of a portion are configured as tear-off webs. <IMAGE>
