PURPOSE:To assure depth of fusion cutting by projecting a laser beam curved by a mirror onto the fusion cutting line of concrete, angularly moving the mirror back and forth and removing the molten concrete from the fusion cut groove. CONSTITUTION:A condenser lens 16 and a mirror 18 are disposed above the fusion cutting line 14 of the concrete 12. The laser beam 22 from a laser beam oscillator 20 is curved by the mirror 18 and the projected through the lens 16 onto the line 14. The mirror 18 is angularly moved back and forth by the prescribed angle with respect to the set angle 45 deg., by which the projection point of the beam 22 is oscillated to both sides of the line 14. The molten concrete is expelled laterally or downward by the effect of gravity from the fusion groove. The clogging of the molten concrete into fusion-cut groove or the like is, therefore, obviated, and the depth of the fusion cutting corresponding to the energy of the beam is assured. |
