PURPOSE:To enable transfer recording with favorable image quality on a recording paper having a low surface smoothness, by sequentially providing a non-fluid ink layer and an adhesive layer on a base film, either directly or with a release agent layer therebetween. CONSTITUTION:At least a non-fluid ink layer 3 and an adhesive layer 4 are provided on a base film 1, either directly or with a release agent layer 2 therebetween, to provide a composite layer. The thickness of the ink layer 3 is ordinarily selected from the range of 0.5-2mum, and an ink for forming the ink layer 3 may comprises, for example, a thermoplastic resin, a thermosetting resin, an electron ray curable resin or a UV-curable resin. The thickness of the adhesive layer 4 is ordinarily selected from the range of about 1-10mum. With this arrangement, clear images can be formed even on a recording paper having as low smoothness, and when an image is transferred onto an OHP sheet, an extremely clear OHP image can be obtained. |
