The cleaning trolley for fresh and dirty laundry in hospitals and homes with an impact protection strip arranged on the body frame and made of plastic or similarly flexible material, serves for storing and conveying fresh and dirty laundry, said trolley being movable on four wheels one way with fresh laundry and other way (return path) with dirty laundry in sacks. To avoid collision damage particular importance is therefore attached to an impact protection strip. The difficulty is to avoid corners or gaps in which dirt can collect yet to attach the impact protection strip adequately and in a manner such that it can be exchanged. As Fig. 3 shows, the arrangement of the impact protection strip is free from screws, rivets, retaining straps and protruding edges. It is arranged in a manner such that it is free to move in its length so that even in the case of longitudinal expansion resulting from the heat when the cleaning trolley is being disinfected, the formation of undesired gaps is to the largest possible extent provided. The impact protection strip can easily be exchanged by simple pressing together. <IMAGE>
