The invention relates to an arrangement for the remote adjustment of the inking zones on printing machines for matching the discontinuous trend of the position of the ink-knife supporting elements to the continuous function of the ink-knife bending line. Starting from the object of providing an arrangement for the remote adjustment of the inking zones on printing machines, by means of which it becomes possible to make an approximation only in the instances actually necessary, whilst guaranteeing a symmetrical ink profile after the approximation, the arrangement is characterised by - an approximation subsassembly containing a summer/comparator subassembly and a following computation subassembly, - an input store preceding the summer/comparator subassembly and the computation subassembly of the approximation subassembly and connected to the position transmitters, - an output store following the approximation subassembly and connected to the actuating systems, - a counter connected on the input side to the output store, a starting device and the summer/comparator subassembly and on the output side to the input store and the computation subsassembly, - a store connected on the output side to the summer/comparator subassembly and the computation subassembly.
