PURPOSE:To relieve the tolerance of guide pins and to improve the productivity of the guide pins by providing an elastomer layer between a grooved substrate and flat plate. CONSTITUTION:The grooved substrate 1 formed with 2 pieces of guide pin grooves 3 and 5 pieces of optical fiber guide grooves 4 atop the same and the flat plate 2 positioned thereon are joined via the elastomer layer 5. The flat plate 2, the elastomer layer 5 and the grooved substrate 1 are pressurized and fixed by an elastic pressuring member 6 such as elastic clip, by which the guide pins 7 inserted therein are kept pressurized at all times to assure the stable coupling. Absorption of slight deformation with the elastomer layer 5 is realized by using a hard and brittle material as the high-accuracy positioning member and providing the elastomer layer 5 to overcome the drawback of the hard deformability in the coupling. The substrate and the flat plate are positioned to meet a reference size at all times by being pressurized and fixed with the member 6, by which the positioning stable for a long period of time is realized. |
