PURPOSE:To realize high torque at a low speed, by putting together a disc- formed elastic unit and a piezoelectric unit in the shape of a concentric disc to form a piezoelectric oscillating unit, and by setting a mover in contact with the surface of the elastic unit. CONSTITUTION:A biaxial rotary device is composed of a rotary body 1 fitted on a retaining base 2 via bearings 3, 3' with shafts 1', 1'', an oscillating unit 4, the bearing 10 of a fixed way 9 for taking a rotary shaft 8 out of the retaining base 2 and supporting the shaft 8, another oscillating unit 7 set at the bearing section 9' of the fixed way 9, and the like. The oscillating unit 7 is provided with a projection 7' for taking out mechanical output, and the retaining base 2 is rotated via lining material 6. Accordingly, the rotary body 1 may be rotated with the center of the shaft 8 different from said shaft 1', 1''. |
