<p>PURPOSE:To ensure the same application feeling as paper and to omit the troublesome operations like the shift of a cursor, etc., by adding independently a sheet type input display device where an input part and an output part are laminated into a single sheet form to secure an input/display part. CONSTITUTION:The characters, patterns, etc., are directly supplied to an input/ display part 4a by handwriting via an input device 1. A pressure sensor 3 set at the tip of the device 1 sensors a contact with the surface of the part 4a and a light emitting element 2 emits light. The light passed through a display liquid crystal panel 5 serving as a surface display part is reflected by 50% by a 50%-reflecting plate 6. While the other 50% light is sensed by a photosensitive element plate 7 serving as an input part on the rear side. The position of the sensed element is detected by a power supply control part 8 and the panel 5 is driven right above the element sensed by the plate 7 to display the position of said element there. Thus it is possible to print the regular form font by a printer 13 or to store it in an external memory 14 with the handwritten characters as they are or by setting the handwritten character recognizing software, etc.</p> |
