PURPOSE:To improve workability of the titled material, and to obtain the titled material having good performance by incorporating a specific silver halide fine particle to a silver halide emulsion, and the specific compd. capable of reducing a spectral sensitivity to a hydrophilic colloid layer, or a part of said specific compd. to an emulsion layer. CONSTITUTION:The titled material is laminated at least one layer of silver halide photosensitive emulsion layer on a substrate body, and a non- photosensitive hydrophilic colloid layer is laminated on said emulsion layer. The silver halide emulsion contains the silver halide fine particle having >=20mol% silver bromide and <=0.20mum mean particle size. The compd. capable of reducing the spectral sensitivity having <=380nm and >=450nm is incorporated to the hydrophilic colloid layer, or the part of said compd. is incorporated to the emulsion layer. The particle size of the silver halide is <=0.20mum, preferably <=0.15mum. The degree of monodispersion of the silver halide emulsion is preferably 5-50, further preferably 10-30. Thus, the titled material having excellent workability and good performance is obtd. |
