PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of an overcurrent when the power supply controls to the exposure lamp and plural high power-consuming loads of a copying machine such as fixing heater are simultaneously switched to turn on them, by setting a little time lag between the turning-on timing of both of them. CONSTITUTION:This controller is the loading power controller of office equipment which is provided with a 1st load, 1st switching means TRC 501 which controls the power supply to the 1st load, 2nd load HT, 2nd switching means TRC 503 which controls the power supply to the 2nd load HT, designating means which designates at least one of the 1st and 2nd loads to activate or inactivate, and electronic control means 210 which controls the 1st and 2nd switching means TRCs 501 and 503 synchro nously to each other upon receiving the activating instruction of the designating means. When an activating designation by the designating means is given, the electronic control means 210 controls the turning on of the 1st and 2nd switching means TRCs 501 and 503 with a little time lag of a prescribed time between them. Therefore, the maximum value of the power consumption of the power source can be reduced as compared with conventional ones, therefore, the load of high power consumption can be used. |
