<p>PURPOSE:To lessen variability of carbonation ratio, introducing carbonic acid gas to an upright louver grid-shaped cooler equipped with a main pipe at the central part and a blow pipe at the peripheral wall part and making it possible to equalize the carbonation ratio of quicklime at an arbitrary position in the radius direction of the cooler. CONSTITUTION:This carbonation device for surface of quicklime particles has structure of an upright louver grid-shaped cooler 1 which is equipped with a feed opening 2 for calcined quick lime 3 at the upper part, a discharge hole 4 for the quicklime 3 at the lower part, a main pipe 9 at the central part of the lower part in the cooler 1 and a blow pipe 13 at the peripheral part of the cooler 1. Carbonic acid gas is introduced from the main pipe 9 and the blow pipe 13 and the surface of quicklime particles is carbonated. The particles are discharged from discharge hole 8.</p> |
