PURPOSE:To improve lightfastness of magenta dye image, without generating auxiliary absorption due to a formed magenta dye by incorporating at least one of a specific magenta coupler and at least one of a specific compd. to the titled material. CONSTITUTION:The titled material comprises at least one of the magenta coupler shown by formula I and at least one of the compd. shown by formula II. In formula I, Z is a nonmetal atomic group necessary for forming a nitrogen contg. heterocyclic ring, X is hydrogen atom or a group capable of releasing by reacting with an oxidant of a color developing agent, R is hydrogen atom or a substituent. In formula II, R1 is alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkenyl, aryl or arylsulfonyl group, etc., R2 is a group capable of substituting to a benzene ring, (m) is an integer of 0-4, A is a nonmetal atomic group necessary for forming a 5-8 membered ring together with nitrogen atom. Thus, the discoloration and decoloration of the magenta dye image against light are prevented at the same time. |
