PURPOSE:To obtain the titled material having an excellent color reproducibility and an improved lightfastness of the magenta dye image by incorporating at least one of a specific magenta coupler and at least one of a specific compd. to the titled material. CONSTITUTION:The titled material comprises at least one of the magenta coupler shown by formula I and at least one of the compd. shown by formulas II-IV. In formula I, Z is a nonmetal atomic group necessary for forming a nitrogen contg. heterocyclic ring, X is hydrogen atom or a substituent capable of releasing by reacting with an oxidant of a color developing agent, R is hydrogen atom or a substituent. In formulas II-IV, R<3> is hydrogen atom, alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkenyl or aryloxycarbonyl group, etc., R<4> is a substituent, (m) is 0 or an integer of 1-6, Y is oxygen or sulfur atom, etc. Thus, the color reproducibility of the titled material is improved, and the discoloration of the magenta dye image due to a light can be prevented. |
