<p>PURPOSE:To dispense with complicated input operation such as the setting of a numerical value and to perform tuning faithful to an actual player, by inputting actual playing sound and setting the pitch information thereof as the reference of tuning. CONSTITUTION:A microphone 10 inputs the external sound such as the sound of a musical instrument to a pitch detection circuit 14 which in turn sends out the pitch of a sound signal being inputted. A memory circuit 18 has n-pieces of memories M(1-n) respectively inputting said data PD through a change-over circuit 16 and the operation of said memories is controlled through a memory selector 20, a sound name selector 22 and a mode change-over switch MS. The pitch data RPD(1-n) read from the memories M(1-n) are supplied to a musical sound forming circuit 26 through an OR circuit 24 and the circuit 26 forms a musical sound signal TS on the basis of the pitch data RPD to send out the same. The data RPD from the circuit 24 are supplied to a comparing circuit 32 to be compared with the data PD from the circuit 16 and comparing output is given to a display control circuit 34 to display the difference between a reference pitch and a pitch to be tuned on a display device 36.</p> |
