PURPOSE:To mold the pipe having uniform wall-thickness and no uneveness in the portion containing long glass fibers by a method in which a plurality of synthetic resin plates composed of a resin layer and a glass long fiber layer are fused, and this fused material is continuously pressed in a specified mold. CONSTITUTION:When synthetic resin plates p are heated, their synthetic resin layers gamma are fused and the condition where these layers are partially mixed with long fibers is obtained. Two synthetic resin plates p, p thus heated are inserted between the inner mold 21 and the top and bottom forces 22, 22' of a press molding machine 2. Next, the top and bottom forces 22, 22' are closed, and the synthetic resin plates p, p are compressed therebetween. The fused resin gamma is fluidized, and the synthetic resin plates p, p are caused to be cylindrically integral. Simultaneously the glass long fibers in this plate p are also moved on the flow of the fused resin and is diffused. The fibers are uniformly dispersed in a cylindrical molding, whereby the glass long fibers are intertwined, and the cylindrical molding with high strength may be obtained. |
