A method of combating fungi which comprises applying to such fungi or to a fungus habitat a fungicidally effective amount of a thienylurea derivative of the formula <IMAGE> in which X is oxygen or sulphur, R is C1-C4-alkoxy, R1 is C3-C4-alkyl, and R2 and R3 each independently is C1-C4-alkyl and one of them may also be hydrogen.
