PURPOSE:To set sealing portions at two points between the frame body of the battery jar and positive and negative electrode side plates so as to obtain the captioned lead storage battery with stable quality by connecting the positive and negative electrode sides plates, holding active materials, serving as collectors and battery terminals, to the both sides of the plastic frame body of the battery jar. CONSTITUTION:Positive and negative electrode side plates 4, 2, holding active materials 5, 3, serving as collectors and battery terminals are connected with both sides of the plastic frame body 1 of a battery jar. The negative electrode plates 2, is formed in such a way that copper/copper alloy or steel/stainless steel plates are coated with lead or lead alloy and a net 8 made of plastic is bonded thereon for holding active materials. The positive electrode plates 4 formed in such a way that copper/copper alloy or steel/stainless steel plate is coated with lead or lead alloy and a net 8' made of plastic is bonded thereon for holding active materials. With this arrangement, it is possible to obtain a thin enclosed lead storage battery with stable quantity. |
