PURPOSE:To prevent developer from being unnecessarily solidified in a developing room after ending development by inserting a cooling means into a part of an air flow course of press-squeezing air up to the developing room. CONSTITUTION:A squeezing air supplying port 108 is coupled with an air pump 144 through a conduit 142 and a cooling machine 142A to be cooling means to supply squeezing air. The cooling machine 142A is arranged to prevent a squeezing effect from being dropped due to temperature rise based upon an atmospheric temperature in a housing 11 at the time of passing air exhaused from the air pump 144 through the conduit 142. Thereby, the developer 136 can be prevented from being dried and stuck to a developing electrode and its vicinity which may be generated at the time of the press squeezing of the developing room 98 based upon air having a comparatively high temperature.
