PURPOSE:To prevent overhead from being increased, by executing all of the processings in a CP mode including the data transfer of a fault under the control of an OS, or the fault which requires the execution of an interruption processing, when it occurs, only by an SVMOS instruction. CONSTITUTION:When the fault or interruption is generated in executing a job by a data processor 2 under the control of the OS, a processing means 24 saves the state of the data processor 2 to a first saving area 11, and changes a mode register 23 to the CP (control program) mode, and starts up a CP. The CP, after performing the simulation of the fault, or the interruption, executes a start virtual machine operating system mode instruction. In the SVMOS instruction, the processing means 24 loads the data of the first saving area 11 on the data processor 2 first. At this time, the mode of the mode register 23 is changed to an OS mode when the tag of the SVMOS instruction is set at '00'. Then, the CP starts up the OS, and the data processor 2 executes the job under the control of the OS. |
