<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a waste valve from opening early, by regulating the boost pressure in accordance with variations in the atmospheric pressure. CONSTITUTION:During running on a flat land, the pressure outside of a bellows 1 has a predetermined value so that the other end of a swing lever 15 is lifted up by a tension spring 20 while a hook washer 27 is separated from a seat in a regulator diaphragm 35, and therefore, the boost pressure from a pressure introduction port 51 is led into outlet ports 52, 53 for a waste gate valve and an overpressure valve. When the altitude is high so that the atmospheric pressure is low, the bellows 1 inflates to push down the swing lever 15 to communicates an atmospheric pressure introduction port 30 and the outlet ports 52, 53 with each other. When the pressure of the pressure introduction port 51 becomes negative during the turbocharger is not operated, a ball 55 closes the outlet port 62 to prevent negative pressure from being introduced into the waste gate valve.</p> |
