PURPOSE:To rapidly effect desilvering of the color photosensitive material by processing the titled material with a processing solution having a bleaching ability in the presence of a specific nitrogen contg. unsatd. heterocyclic compd. CONSTITUTION:The titled material is processed with the processing solution having the bleaching ability in the presence of the nitrogen contg. unsatd. heterocyclic compd. shown by the formula wherein four atoms selected among the atoms of A-I are nitrogen atom, and the five atoms of the remainder are carbon atom. At least one of the binding selected among the bindings comprising A-B binding, B-C binding, C-D binding, D-E binding, E-F binding, F-A binding, F-G binding, G-H binding, H-I binding and I-E binding is a double bond, each of the A-I atoms may be substd. The processing solution having the bleaching ability contains a ferric complex salt of org. acid as a bleaching agent. Thus, the color photosensitive material has an effect of accelerating the bleach by effecting sufficient desilvering for a short period, without damaging the photographic performance of the titled material. |
