<p>Electrolytic cell has a chamber contg. at least one pair of anode and cathode electrodes each having a vertical principal face, at least one bipolar intermediate electrode in a row between the anode and cathode, and a metal collecting chamter which is attached to the electrolytic chamber but sepd. therefrom by a paritition. The intermediate electrodes has a flat graphite portion, providing an anodic face, and an iron portion, to provide a cathodic face, spaced from one another but joined by iron rods secured tightly to the graphite to provide electrical connection thereto.</p> |
