<p>PURPOSE:To use no specific cable for controlling a power source by detecting the state of an input signal from a main body device supplied to an attached equipment and turning on and off the power source of the device when this state grows a specific state. CONSTITUTION:The mainbody device of a computer or the like is mutually connected to the attached equipment of an I/O equipment or the like through a connector 1. Input signal lines 21-23 to the attached equipment are all wired OR constitutions/through diodes 3-5 and connected to a photodiode 8. The photodiode 8 is circuit element constituting a noncontact switching circuit 7 to control the on and off of the power source of the attached equipment. Accordingly, when a control signal is fed from the main body device to the attached equipment, the photodiode 8 emits light to turn on the noncontact switch 7 and the power source of the attached equipment is charged. When said control signal is stopped, the light emission of the diode 8 is stopped, the switch 7 is turned off and the power source of the attached equipment is disconnected.</p> |
