PURPOSE:To sufficiently stir a developer by providing a guide path for smoothly returning an excess developer scraped by a doctor blade to a stirring area on the developer feeding side to a doctor blade supporting body like a curve. CONSTITUTION:The guide path 17 extended like a curve in the supporting body from the front end of the doctor blade 11 in the rotating direction of a sleeve 12 and opened to the stirring area 15 on the developer feeding side on which a feeding blade 16 is fitted to the supporting body 14 for supporting the doctor blade 11. Although the shape of the guide path 17 is not sepecially restricted, a circular arc is formed so that the flow of the developer scraped by the blade 14 is not interrupted as less as possible. The developer scraped by the blade 11 is guide into the guide path 17 while receiving the pressure of the successively scraped developer and smoothly returned to the stirring area 15. Consequently, the fluidity of the developer to the stiring area 15 can be improved and stirring can be suifficiently executed. |
