PURPOSE:To form a blank part which is generated when the number of sheets of originals is of an odd number on the last page by setting an initially fed original i.e., the original of the last page on the second position when the number of housed original is discriminated to be of an odd number and carrying out copying not by means of a composite mode. CONSTITUTION:When a copy mode is of a composite second mode, it is checked whether the number of original sheets set on a original tray 32 is of an odd number. And, when it is an odd number, since an original OR1 to be finally copied is only one sheet, the left side of a copying paper COPY1 becomes a blank sheet resulting in an unsightly copy. Therefore, arrangement is made so that the copy of the original comes to the left side on the copying paper and the blank sheet part comes to the right side. And, at the time of the odd number of the original sheets, the clutch of a pinch roller 38 is connected and a conveying belt 39 is driven at a low speed, and the original is conveyed to the B (second) position on an original table 25 and an even number page flag is set. When copying is over, the conveying belt 39 is driven at a high speed and the original OR1 is conveyed to a discharge part, while setting a timer for adjusting the timing for feeding the next original OR2. |
