PURPOSE:To supervise and control plural terminals by increasing the number of the bit per line and making it into a multi-system. CONSTITUTION:For both edges of the line, terminal equipments are a telephone set and a data terminal equipment, and for both transmission and reception, one bit is respectively added to the data terminal equipment and the signal system is made into two systems. In such a case, a signal line uses SS0 and SR0 for a telephone set and uses SS1 and SR1 for a terminal equipment. The control and supervision such as the starting, etc., for setting the line are executed by the SS0 and SR0. An incoming side telephone set responds, the line cannot be communicated, thereafter, the control and supervision when the communication is executed between both data terminal equipments are executed by the SS1 and SR1. For the bit to be added, the bit is used which is not usually used including a B bit, in a primary group 30 channel (line) system PCM transmission system.
