PURPOSE:To obtain a capsule toner which prohibits the outflow of the liquid in the capsule to the outside, has the hardly destructable capsule shell and has good fixability by incorporating pulverized additive particles subjected to a surface treatment with a resin having a hydroxyl group into a polyurethane resin or polyurea resin shell layer. CONSTITUTION:This capsule toner contains the pulverized additive particles subjected to the surface treatment with the resin having the hydroxyl group in the polyurethane resin or polyurea resin shell layer. The pulverized additive particles 2 are included into the shell layer 1 having a uniform film thickness, by which the problem of bleeding of the liquid from the inside to the surface is eliminated with such capsule toner and the stability of the electrostatic charge an cleanability of the toner are improved. The polyurethane resin or polyurea resin film 3 mainly constituting the surface of the shell layer and the pulverized additive particles are bound by the chemical bond via the resin 5 subjected to the surface treatment and therefore, the shell layer 1 is formed with the particles 2 as a nucleus and the capsule toner has high strength as a whole. |
