PURPOSE:To prepare a functional film to be utilized as a non-porous film having an extremely thin film section easily capable of mass production, by electrifying finely divided particles disposed on either a positive or a negative electrode, simultaneously moving the same to the other electrode side at a high speed, colliding with a thermoplastic film and imbedding the same. CONSTITUTION:After finely divided particles of cylinder are fed in a fixed quantity from a finely divided particle feeder 7 to a finely divided particle receiving section 6 of a positive electrode 4 high voltage is applied intermittently between both electrodes 4 and 5 by by a high voltage generator 9, while keeping a specified portion of a thermoplastic film, for example, a polyester film 2 is kept to be positioned between the positive and negative electrodes 4 and 5. At that time, said finely divided particles are electrified and moved at a high speed to the opposite negative electrode 5, colliding with said film 2. Then, the switch of the high voltage generator 9 is opened, and after said film 2 is moved by a fixed length, said particles are collided with said film 2 again by the high voltage generator 9. Said operation is repeated and a functional film is prepared. |
