PURPOSE:To prevent the inhaling of air into a suction tube when the left fuel quantity is less, by installing a valve device which seals the lower port into the upper part of a fuel tank when one among a plurality of lower ports is tilted lower for the other. CONSTITUTION:When the fuel quantity left in a tank body 1 reduces, and the tank body 1 is titled, only the steel ball 17 in a valve chamber 15 which is set low rolls outwardly on the bottom wall 12 which is tilted by the influence of gravity, and seals a valve seat 21. In other words, the first lower port 7 is sealed. While, the steel ball 18 in the other valve chamber 16 contacts a partitioning wall 14 separated from a valve seat 22 by the influence of gravity and stand still, and the second lower port 8 is opened. Therefore, only the second suction tube 11 performs fuel suction action. Since the suction port 11a of the second suction tube 11 is arranged at the corner part of the tank body 1 which is set low by the tilt, the fuel collected at the corner part can be smoothly inhaled. |
