Retracting, aligning and fixing device which comprises a mechanism with a number of fingers (40) with hook-shaped ends, the mechanism being attached to a sleeve (37) which is urged by a screw (36) driven by a motor (47). The fingers (40) are axially guided by means of wings (38) and slots (26, 27) towards an inner funnel (29) with guide slots (30) and an outer funnel (25). Associated with the device is a retraction cone (51) towards which the device is to be guided for alignment and fixing. Upon movement of the fingers towards the retraction cone, the fingers are opened so as to create a sufficient gap to close around the retraction cone. By reversing the finger movement, there is first obtained a substantially radial movement of the fingers for closing around the retraction cone. Thereafter there is obtained a substantially axial movement, whereby said inner funnel (29) is pulled towards the retraction cone, which, after additional axial finger movement, is urged towards the innermost part of the inner funnel. |
