PURPOSE:To allow a spread spectrum communication system to coexist with another already existing communication system by providing an FIR filter in the output part of a transmitter and providing an IIR filter in the input part of a receiver. CONSTITUTION:An FIR filter 14 is inserted to the output part of the transmitter, and an IIR filter 15 having the opposite characteristic of the FIR filter is inserted to the input part of the receiver. The FIR filter acts to not only suppress the peak value of the power spectrum density of a transmission signal but also conceal the transmission signal from the noise of a transmission line. The IIR filter acts to restore the reception signal, which is received from the transmitter through the transmission line, namely, the transmission signal, which is distorted by the characteristic of the FIR filter, to the original transmission signal by the opposite charac teristic. |
